国道40号線沿いに「道の駅びふか」があり、その奥に「びふかアイランド」があります。
「びふかアイランド」内には温泉やキャンプ場があり、チョウザメ館もその一角にあります。
チョウザメ館は無料なので、美深町を通るついで、道の駅や温泉に行ったついで、などいつでも気軽にどうぞ。
Along National Route 40 is the Bifuka michinoeki, and behind it is Bifuka Island.
Within Bifuka Island there are hot springs and a campsite, and the Sturgeon Museum is also located in one corner.
Admission to the Sturgeon Museum is free, so feel free to drop by anytime, such as when you're passing through Bifuka Town, or when you're visiting the roadside station or hot springs.

最初は美深町の三日月湖で水産庁のチョウザメ飼育実験を行ったことから、養殖事業が始まりました。
